I have made a commitment to myself and the people on my contact list to send my Christmas cards today. I remember, growing up with a salesman father, cards were part of his business. My collection has been gathered from yards sales over the past few years, all of them out of date and funky. But they are GOING out if I have to skip lunch AND dinner!
Here's the stuff I skimmed off my email this morning. I'd like to follow up with every idea here. But after the Christmas cards. After the POST OFFICE with the Christmas cards:

[online auctions and stores] I've heard good things about OSCommerce, I just haven't used it yet. But I have installed it, and it was really easy to install. It would be a store rather than auction though. A lot of people combine a store with eBay to get cross traffic from one to the other. If you have anything handmade, check out Etsy.com.

Hello everybody,
We at South Asia Regional Network ( SARnet ) are trying to use ICT to further our common goals. We have developed a platform (www.wesouthasians.org ) for this.
What I find is that the people and organisations for whom the initiative is intended, are not aware of the potential of this resource. This is for a number of reasons. For example :
lack of knowledge and experience of the value of the Internet
lack of skills in using the Internet
Low priority to use of ICT in their work
and so on.
Does anyone have suggestions and ideas to remedy this?
Thanx

simplyummy. It's very nice and funky. it's at 122 Reynolda Village | Winston-Salem, NC 27106 | 336-724-9779. If you take Silas Creek north and exit at the Wake Forest Univ exit, take first right onto Reynolda road, then a left at the next light into Reynolda Village and follow the road down left to the stop sign and take a left there, you'll see it.
