I'm doing a research project with Open Forum Cambodia and KhmerOS here in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They have a wonderful web site in Khmer called the Community Information Center Web Portal. I'm investigating the possibility of moving the site from its present Microsoft architecture to open source systems, including Drupal, the open source content management system and a MySQL database.
But the Drupal system and the one they've got now are very different. My job has been to see HOW they're different, and how a new Drupal system could be constructed that would do everything the present system does and more.
The following photos aren't all the folks from work, but here are a few of the faces of the young people I'm working with. I'm really so pleased to have had the chance to work with them.

This is a general view of the office just behind my desk.

Here's the universal sign of photo, the peace sign.

This is Chan Ratha. Isn't he a cutie?

This lady, Chantheng, speaks much better English than she thinks she does.

This is Chantra. They play video games over the lunch hour, against each other.
It's a great office and I'm having a blast working there.

Hey Trish,
Firstly, thanks for your time to conduct study of CIC webportal's database in order to find out possiblity to move it to open source. I hope you will give more interest for my organsation, especially for my team. Even though, I cannot help you so much about this because I really don't know its system. Wish you success in your research.
