India: Rotary Tour 3-5 Aug
- Part of my Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarship is to meet and greet Rotarians from other clubs. Thursday and Saturday...with an adventure in between...I did just that. Here are the photos!
India: St. Paul's Fest
- Last weekend, I was invited as guest and judge to St. Paul's School where there were six private schools competing in fun contests: A Jeopardy-like quiz show, charades, interpretative dance, Complete the Story, Complete the Song, Create your own Advertisement, Chess, Art, Creative Writing, One-Act Play (written and directed by the students) and Musical Performances. It was a great insight into one of the great boys' schools of Northeast India and a treat for its gentility, discipline and respect.
India: Afternoon Walk
- On the way to Mr. P.K. Chettri in the afternoons, all the city's school children are in the streets. And there are a few other interesting sights.
Thailand
- Photos of our short week of getting a bunch of stuff done in Bangkok before heading out to Cambodia, Vietnam and, possibly, Laos.
New Zealand: Auckland Again
- We return to Auckland, New Zealand after a trip to the South Island. Staying at the Youth Hostel, we explore the cityscape and climb the highest tower.
Rotary Noumea
- The Rotary Club in Noumea, New Caledonia, along with rain-protection options, and Kanak carvings.

Photos for Miss Giri
This is my daughter Natasha in Boston with her yellow-clad roommate, Amelie. Their OTHER roommate, Ranny, brought these dresses from her sister's collection of vintage clothing. The black dress, though it is almost impossible to photograph, is stunning taffeta with black-on-black piping and a kind of ruffle stitch.
